We never thought it would come to this....

...but thanks to a girl named Mary here we are...introducing the world to our purses online.

Yes folks, purses, handcrafted and designed by none other than two GUYS! Surprising? Absolutely! Purses envied by your co-workers? Absolutely!

Check back soon for pictures of some of the purses created by these two unique individuals. Read on to learn more about the men behind these amazing purses...

Brian Lowther is a graduate student at NC State university and calls Cary, NC home. He attributes his creative side to the loving influence of his mom, Sally. She taught him how to use a sewing machine for a 9th grade geometry project. Check it out...a pretty sweet looking soccer quilt square (or as some might think-a hot pad).

After that passing moment in 9th grade Brian never touched a sewing machine again until college. It all started because a friend told him he couldn't make a purse. Little did she know Brian is not one to be told he can't do something. He thought about it for a bit, gathered his materials, retaught himself how to use that old sewing machine and...VOILA! A purse! His first attempt was pretty outstanding...but Brian thought he could do better.

That's where G$ (G-money) comes in.

G$ is a senior at NCSU (go Wolfpack!) and would call himself a crafty person. He also knows how to use a sewing machine and has a creative eye. He and Brian became friends through the Ultimate Frisbee team at NCSU and discovered their common crafty-uniqueness. They realized they could score some huge points with their ladies if they could just make something every girl needs and LOVES! What other than....PURSES?!!

Thus, the Brian&G$ placemat-purse was born! We hope you'll visit often and check out the fabulous new ideas and designs from these two talented men. If you have questions or would like to purchase a purse just let them know!
